潜在空间/过渡空间。这是温尼科特提出的重要概念，指孩子与母亲之间、主观世界与客观现实之间的“中间地带”。它既不是纯粹的内在幻想，也不是纯粹的外在现实，而是一个可以玩耍、可以创造、可以象征、可以发展自体、可以形成文化经验的心理空间。简单理解：母亲足够好（good-enough mother）时，婴儿会慢慢体验到这个世界不是完全由我控制，但也不是完全陌生，在这之间形成的心理地带，就是potential space。
